Summer is finally here, and I know I cannot be the only one who cries a little inside when I see anything ‘back to school’. It’s August people, and summer isn’t over. I don’t understand why people are so eager for it to be school season again. Summer is really what most of us wait for every year, I know I do. During winter I cannot wait for the temperature when I can wear sleeveless shirts, and feel the sun hug me throughout the day. In the spirit of summer not being over, and having a couple of more weeks of it, I plan to do something about it, and take charge of making sure I make this one a good one.

With the cold snapping all around us I can’t help but grow increasingly anxious for summer. It’s most certainly my favorite season. No more waking up to cold floors. No more sore throats. No more dry skin. No more snow. No more. . . . .cold. It seems as if it’s been years since the weather was nice and I hope we have a hot one this year.
We started out at some point last year on BRLYNS 3. Needless to say, BRLYNS 3 only made it to the proofing stage. Random shit happened with our lives and families that prevented us from continuing on and pursuing the full run. We felt that is would be a disservice to the people who were accepted into BRLYNS 3 to not let their work see the light of day. So, long story short, we are rolling in some of the old artists into a new issue that is dubbed 3.5. We have already solicited new artists and weeded through all the submissions.
Updates will be posted soon on which artists were selected and will be appearing in this new issue. Thanks to all of you for the patience and support. We hope you all have had some good holiday meals and good holiday times.
